This file received the same description as the nine files that followed it -- "Download this shit."

The image, when downloaded, displayed the message "Not a valid GIF file" in some applications, but the file name -- kidhack2.gif -- is identical to that of a file which appeared on the "AOL Watch" page 11 days earlier.

In that instance, hackers had inserted an obscenity-laced greeting into the "Chat About It!" window of a parenting forum in AOL's "Thrive" health area. It remained on-line for over 18 hours before AOL staffers

"The Thrive staff wants me to apologize for the weird messages," the chat's host announced as new mothers gathered in the chat room for their Friday the 13th support group.
