I think having 20,000+ idiots using AOHell to knock people offline, steal passwords and credit card information, and to basically annoy the hell out of everyone is a good start.
The final words in the documentation for AOHell show an inclination for the ultimate in malicious pranks: knocking a user off-line.New ways to accomplish this have been discovered by hackers since the 1994 hacker program first made its debut. Proprietary, in-house AOL tools have also found their way into the hacker community--which may be aiding the hackers' efforts. In-house documents leaked to the web reveal AOL has a policy of "Mercy Bumps"...
It's not clear what the screenshot BUMP.BMP was illustrating, though the file was titled "ELITE THIS" -- words which also appear on the AOL exit screen in the image.
