I think having 20,000+ idiots using AOHell to knock people offline, steal passwords and credit card information, and to basically annoy the hell out of everyone is a good start.

Proprietary, in-house AOL tools have also found their way into the hacker community--which may be aiding the hackers' efforts. It's not clear what the screenshot BUMP.BMP was illustrating, though the file was titled "ELITE THIS" -- words which also appear on the AOL exit screen in the image.
